From the Home Page Navigation Bar click Listings
Choose the appropriate Class for your listing.
The Listing Input page will launch.


Fields, such as Listing Date and Expiration Date, have a small calendar to the right of the field. Click on it and a calendar will open click on the appropriate date.


The larger text fields such as Directions, Remarks and Addendum have spell check available. Type in the information for the listing, then click the ABC button on the right side.

The Spell Check window will open, the misspelled words will underlined, click the misspelled word, choose the word to replace it with from the list below then click change. When complete click Finish Checking.

Partial Save gives the user the ability to save a listing before all of the criteria is entered, making it possible to finish putting in the listing at a later time. It also allows the user to continually save the listing while entering the data in case the connection to Paragon is interrupted. It is recommended to click Partial Save periodically while entering the listing so data that has been entered will not be lost.
Once the Partial Save required fields are complete, click Partial Save on the Action Toolbar.
A dialog box will open asking if you want to Continue Entering Data, Close Listing Input/Maint. Click the option button of your choice and click Apply.
You will receive a temporary Partial Listing number. When the listing is finished and saved you will receive the permanent MLS number. The Partial Listing is only viewable by the Agent or the Broker.
Click OK.
Note: The amount of time that Partial Listings are retained in the system is determined by the MLS. Contact your MLS Administrator for further details.

On the Navigation Bar click Listings.
Under the Maintain column click Partial.
The Partial Listing Maintenance screen will open, you will see only your Partial Listings. Select the listing you wish to finish or maintain, on the right side of the listing is the Select an Action drop down box. Open the drop down and click Maintain Partial.

The Listing Input and Maintenance screen will then open allowing you to finish entering your listing.
On the Features Field click Open.
In the left box click Expand to see all the Features within each Feature Category.

Note: Some Features may be required by the MLS, if so they will be marked with the red R as seen above.
Select the desired features by clicking the check box next to that field. After all of the desired features have been selected, click Add.
To remove any features, highlight them in the right box by clicking on the item, then click Remove.

Paragon will auto populate the List Agent Field, with the name of the user who is logged into the system. To change click the Underlined name
A pop up window will open displaying the agents names that are associated with the users office or firm. Search for the desired agent and click the option button next to the agents name then click OK. Paragon will then populate the field with the new agent's name.

Note: The process is the same to add or change a Listing Agent, Listing Agent 2, or Listing Office. What is available to the user will depend on MLS rules and the users security level.
There are two options to save a listing, Save and Save Listing and. Save will save the listing, check for data errors and issue an MLS number. Save Listing and, will take the same steps, but will also automatically print or email the listing, or automatically open the photo administration window.
Click either Save or Save and .... If Save and has been chosen when the cursor rolls over the Save and button a drop down will automatically open, the choices of Print/Email or Maintain Photos will be available. If the user has photos on the hard drive of the computer ready to upload to Paragon it is recommended to choose Save and Maintain Pictures.
Paragon will check for required fields that have been left blank, or data that is in the wrong format. If an error is found a window will open below the listing input screen explaining the error. Click Modify to go directly to that field and make the appropriate corrections.
Some data entered may be outside the normal parameters. If this the case Paragon may note it as an error but the user has the opportunity to accept the data that has been entered by clicking Accept.
Once all errors have been addressed, click Save again.

Paragon will now check the address of the property for accuracy. If it can place the property on the map within 90% accuracy based on Geocode, Paragon will move on to the next step. If however it is lower than 90% a Geocode window will be opened and the agent will be asked to accurately place the property on the map.
