Geocode Listing

Paragon's mapping software, Map Point, assigns each listing address entered into Paragon a quality value.  To prevent mapping issues with listings, Map Point will not map an address if the quality level is not above .85 on a 1.0 high scale.

To Correctly Geocode a New Listing from Listing Input Page:

  1. After clicking Save, or Save and ... Map Point will check the address for the listing in Paragon for accuracy.  If the Geocode Quality is .9 or higher, Map Point will allow Paragon to continue to the next step.  If the Geocode Quality is lower than .9, Map Point will stop to get clarification from the agent on the property location.

  2. Choose the correct location for the listings, or the nearest match by clicking Map It.  Notice each of the mapping possibilities have a Quality score.

  1. If the suggested map is accurate, click Save & Close.

  2. If the mapped location is not correct, find the correct location, and click on it.  The house icon will be reset to the new location, and the Geocode (longitude and latitude) will be reset.  Once the correct location is set, click Save & Close.

When a new map location is reset by clicking on the map, the Geocode Quality score will change to a 1.0.  Which means the agent has set the map location. You can also type the latitude and longitude directly into those fields if you have that information.
