Saving the CMA Presentation as a PDF

 

Please save your current CMA Presentation that you are working on in Paragon before going through this process.

 

It is possible to save the CMA presentation as a PDF.  This involves using a Third Party Software Program called PDF Creator. Once you download and install the PDF Creator you will have the ability to save and print the CMA Packet in PDF format.  The following steps will guide you through the process.

 

To Install PDF Creator Software:

 

1.   Click on the link:  http://www.pdfforge.org/products/pdfcreator/download

 

2.   Scroll down the page until you see the following image and then click on the link Download PDF Creator.  This will redirect you to a site that will allow you to download the PDF Creator Software and Print Driver.

 

 

 

3.   Now you should be to SourceForge.net.  This site hosts the file that you need to download.  The download should begin automatically.   If the download does not automatically begin, please look to the top of your browser window and see if a yellow message bar has appeared (see below).  If this is the case, click on the yellow bar and choose “Download File”.

 

Click this yellow bar to allow the download.

 

 

 

 

4.  You should then see the following screen. The easiest option is to choose Run.

 

 

 

A progress window will appear.

 

 

 

5.  A second screen will appear when the download completes.  Click the Run button.

 

 

 

6.  On the next screen click OK.

 

 

 

7.  Now the PDF Creator Software will begin to install on your computer. Click Next.

 

 

 

 

8.  Choose “I accept the agreement” and  then click Next.

 

 

 

 

9.  Choose the “ Standard installation” option and then click Next.

 

 

 

10.  This Field will auto-populate for you and then click Next.

 

 

 

11.  This field will auto-populate, then click Next.

 

 

 

 

12. Review the text in the screen and then click Next.

 

 

 

 

13.  You may want to uncheck “PDFCreator Toolbar for “Internet Explorer” and then click Next.

 

 

 

 

14.  Click Next.

 

 

 

 

15.  Click Next.

 

 

 

 

16.  Click  Next.

 

 

 

 

17.  Click Finish.

 

 

 

18.   You will be prompted to restart your computer.  Make sure to save any of your open documents before continuing.

 

To Save as a PDF:

 

1.  Select or create a new CMA Presentation from the Paragon CMA button in the Navigation Bar.

 

 

 

 

2.   Proceed through the CMA set up you normally would until you get to the Presentation Tab at the far right side.

 

 

3.  Select the Print Option.

 

 

 

4.   You should now have a new option under the Select Printer called PDF Creator. Choose this option and click Print.

 

 

 

 

5.   A new window will display that allows you to change the name and choose the location to save the CMA presentation as a PDF file.
